Notebook, correspondence, writings, printed material, photographs, and genealogy relating chiefly to Dodson's ministry and family. The notebook lists the membership (1867-1874) of Tarboro, White's, Temperance Hall, Bethesda, Garrett's and Nobles' Store churches on the Tarboro Circuit in Edgecombe County, N.C., and baptisms, books read, and marriages with comments about their later condition (1860s-1880s). Other materials concern church, school, and public activities of Dodson and his descendents in Forsyth and other counties in eastern and central North Carolina.
